Rummage Sale!

We will be having a rummage sale in the hall at the VFW Post 3804 on Ridge Road behind Walmart on October 10th.

We will be renting tables for $5 for anyone who would like to sell their own items. You will be responsible for collecting your own money.

POST PONED TURKEY SHOOT

WE WILL CONTINUE WITH THE TURKEY SHOOT SEPT. 26TH AT NOON. LET'S PRAY FOR SUNSHINE! LOL WE WILL BE SERVING LUNCH PLATES AGAIN, THE SHOOT, RAFFLES & AN AUCTION AND LIVE MUSIC! PLEASE JOIN US FOR THE FUN!!!

Annual Turkey Shoot Benefit

Holy cow! Can't believe I forgot to post here!

The Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of the Foreign Wars of the United States are still searching for donations while preparing for their Annual Turkey Shoot benefit. This year it will be held on September 12th at the James L. Burge Post 3804, located on Ridge Road behind Wal-Mart. The day will begin with lunch plates being served at 11 am. Voice of Democracy & Patriot's Pen

The theme for the 2009-2010 Voice of Democracy is "Does America Still Have Heroes?"

The theme for the 2009-2010 Patriot's Pen is "When is the Right Time to Honor Our Military Heroes?"

Deadline for entries to be turned into the Post is November 1st.
